about us
Nolita’s compact grid of Elizabeth, Mott and Mulberry Streets holds renovated walk-ups and small boutique condos above some of downtown’s best-known shops and cafes. Residents here tend to value a consistent crew that treats delicate finishes with care. Cleaning Chief has served Manhattan since 2020, and Nolita is on our regular route. Same crew, flat rate, no fine print.

We use EPA Safer Choice products for kitchens, bathrooms, and floors.
Every service has a published flat rate. No hourly meter. You see the exact number before you book.

Our teams cover Nolita on the same schedule we run across Manhattan. Weekly maintenance, deep cleans, move-in and move-out turnovers, post-renovation cleanup, carpet and couch care, tile and grout work, floor buffing, window washing, and Airbnb turnovers are on our published flat-rate card. For asthma-sensitive homes we follow American Lung Association guidance on cleaning products and indoor air.
Pricing is flat. The number you see online is the number on your invoice. If your building has specific access rules, elevator windows, service-entrance requirements, or Certificate of Insurance filings, tell us when you book and we’ll plan around it.

Nolita sits north of Little Italy, a tight grid of Elizabeth, Mott and Mulberry Streets known for small boutiques, cafes and renovated tenements. The apartments above are compact, and many have been redone with the kind of finishes found in design magazines: marble counters, plaster walls, brass fixtures, wide oak floors and custom millwork. A neighborhood this small has a close community, and residents tend to know their super, their doorman if they have one and the shop owners on the ground floor.
Those finishes call for care. Natural stone etches under the wrong product, brass tarnishes under harsh cleaners and unsealed wood shows water marks quickly. Our crews use EPA Safer Choice products that are gentle on delicate surfaces, and they match the product to the material instead of reaching for one spray for everything. A Nolita kitchen with a marble island needs a different routine than a rental kitchen with laminate, and a visit here budgets time for that difference.
Many Nolita buildings are five- and six-story walk-ups or small condos with a handful of units and no front desk. Access runs through intercoms, lockboxes and keys left with a neighbor or the super, and the details are worth confirming before the first visit. A consistent crew solves most of this: once the same people have been through the door a few times, the routine becomes simple. Without a freight elevator or a loading dock, supplies travel up the same stairs as everyone else, so crews pack light and plan for the climb.
Elizabeth and Prince Streets draw shoppers, brunch lines and photographers most of the week, and weekend foot traffic rises with the weather. Street-facing apartments pick up dust and noise along with it, and windows facing the main blocks need attention more often than those in the back. Residents who work from home, which is common across downtown Manhattan, spend more hours in their apartments, so kitchen counters, desks and entry floors take daily wear. Packages, strollers and shopping bags move through small entryways all day, which wears the floors near the door first. Regular service keeps those areas ready without taking over the weekend.
