About Office Cleaning
An office cleaned perfectly once a month still looks bad on day 15. The right office cleaning schedule keeps the space at a steady baseline: slightly obsessive on high-touch surfaces, light-touch on desks, intensive on restrooms and kitchens where hygiene actually compounds. You get a regular cleaner and a backup who has worked your site, and if anyone else is coming, we tell you first.
Office cleaning works at any frequency you need: a one-time clean of a couple of hours, or a recurring schedule every other day, weekly, every two weeks, every three weeks or monthly. Visits happen on an agreed day and time window, in the evening after your office closes, and finish by about 7:30 PM. Overnight cleaning is available on request after a walkthrough. There is no long-term commitment. If customers or patients come through your door all day, janitorial service with several visits a week is the better fit.
- Desk and work-surface wiping, without moving papers or devices
- Meeting room reset after every visit
- Office kitchen and pantry cleaning: appliances, counters, sinks
- Restroom cleaning, with paper and soap restocked if you choose that option
- Touch-point cleaning and disinfection: handles, switches, shared appliance buttons
- Floor care: dust-mopped, damp-mopped, carpets and mats vacuumed
Cleaning for How Offices Actually Work Now
Most NYC offices don’t run at the same capacity every day anymore. Tuesday through Thursday tends to fill up, while Monday and Friday sit closer to half-empty. A cleaning schedule built around five identical nightly visits doesn’t match that pattern, and it’s worth rethinking against how a specific office actually fills up during the week.
Matching Service to Actual Occupancy
A company running a hybrid schedule with light Monday and Friday attendance often does better with a heavier midweek cleaning cadence rather than uniform daily service. Restrooms and kitchens still need consistent attention regardless of headcount, since a half-used office can leave a kitchen just as messy as a full one if the same fifteen people show up. But floor care, desk dusting, and common area resets can flex around when people are actually in the building, which keeps the schedule useful instead of routine for its own sake. A visit timed for Thursday evening resets the week’s heaviest use before a quiet Friday. We are happy to set your visit day around how your office actually fills.
The Hot-Desking Hygiene Problem
Open-plan offices without assigned seating create a cleaning challenge that a traditional office layout never had. A desk with one dedicated owner gets touched by the same hands every day. A hot desk gets touched by a different person Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, each bringing their own coffee cup, laptop, and whatever they picked up on the subway that morning. That turnover makes a hot desk a shared touch point, much like a conference room table. We wipe clear desk and table tops on every visit and disinfect the shared touch points around them.
Companies running unassigned seating benefit from building the checklist around shared surfaces rather than personal desks. It is a small shift, but it matters more in a hot-desking office than in one where everyone still has their own chair and their own mess to answer for. Anything left on a desk stays exactly where it is.

Who Is in Your Office After Hours
An empty office, a stranger and a set of keys is a fair thing to worry about. Here is how we handle it.
The people Our cleaners are uniformed and background-checked. You get a regular cleaner and a backup who has worked your site. If anyone else is coming, we tell you first.
Access and keys Access is a smart-lock code set up for each cleaner, which you can revoke at any time, or your building’s doorman or front desk. We do not hold keys by default, and we never ask for alarm or door codes through a web form.
Your building’s paperwork We carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. When your building asks, we send a Certificate of Insurance, usually within two business days, listing the building or management company as certificate holder. Before the first visit we check the building’s vendor rules, including sign-in, freight elevator and after-hours access, so none of that lands on you.
Papers, devices and whiteboards We never move papers, devices or personal items, and whiteboards are left exactly as they are. For a law firm, an accounting office or an agency, that line matters.
Three Steps, in the Same Order Every Time
Assess
The cleaner looks at the space and the condition of each area before starting.
Clean
Every surface is cleaned first, because a disinfectant does not work through dirt. The CDC’s guidance on cleaning and disinfecting facilities says the same.
Disinfect
The touch points and fixtures that need it are disinfected, with the product left on for its full contact time.
| Surface | Product |
|---|---|
| Restrooms | A descaler that removes the scale and buildup general cleaners leave behind |
| Kitchens and kitchenettes | Food-safe degreasers |
| General areas and touch points | A neutral, no-rinse disinfectant |
| Floors | A neutral pH floor cleaner that is safe for the finish |
| Glass and windows | A streak-free, ammonia-free glass cleaner |
Where the Products Come From
You choose. We can use the products your office already has, bring ours to every visit, or set up a janitorial cabinet on site so everything is kept there. The line-up above is what we use whenever the products are ours.
Cleaning You Can Stop Checking
You should not have to become the inspector. Every visit leaves a trail you can read without calling anyone.GPS clock-in and clock-out
Each visit is time-stamped and logged by location, so you know it happened on the night we said it would.
A photo report every visit
At the end of every visit the cleaner photographs each area. Open the report any time in your online portal. Photos never show documents or screens.
Every exit photo is reviewed
A dispatcher on call checks the finishing photos remotely, every visit, every day.
A written checklist
Cleaners follow the custom checklist attached to your order, item by item.
Supervisor spot checks
A supervisor visits sites around the city in person.
A team leader on larger sites
When a property is big enough to need a team, a team leader is assigned to the cleaners on every visit.
